We paid to watch the Armaggedon-hyped movie in all its cinematic glory at iMax – expectant of incredible visuals, breath-taking revelations of cutting-edge artwork and technological advancements in movie productions.

I must credit the visuals as being unique, especially the scene of the diving dragons, etc. Pretty nifty but I found the 3D glasses irritating and somewhat nauseating overall. I left with a headache, as if I had a fabulously vivid dream that left me drained after waking up…

Warner Brothers, the company that gives our children Bugs Bunny and other entertainment, has gifted this world with a depressing piece of paid for garbage, under the mask of being a “super-hero” flick.  Undoubtedly, kids across the nation have seen this film, and as a result, have been horribly scarred by the visual horrors and underlying themes of defeatism.   I doubt many movie-goers enjoyed their popcorn with the ever-flowing lakes of glistening blood and horror – and some of you thought the early Halloween movies were bad…

Batman – The Dark Knight, revealed.

Well what do we have here? I feel so strongly about this new movie, The Dark Knight, it is worthy of a blog post.

I loved Batman Begins. It was a pleasant surprise to see a movie with a well-thought plot, believably high-tech toys and the lack of the Men in Black type humor (humor, said with strong sarcasm). Chrisitan Bale played a great wealthy tycoon trying to find his true soul in the world and struggling with demons that that the audience could quickly grasp. It made sense watching Batman Begins.
