I am a big health nut, given how I refuse to sleep more than 2 hours in 24 hours. I have carefully put a great deal of study into my life about the body, what to do and not to do. Beyond the obvious, smoking, very regulated drinking, healthy foods, etc, I have learned about Electromagnetic fields, aspartame (any non-sugar sweetner – Diet Cokes, etc) and PVC related products and the scientific changes that occur when one exposes themselves to these irregular molecular instances.
If these are not present in your loved one’s life, might I make a suggestion?

I predict that in the not too distant future, a major anchor, comedian or other followed celebrity – someone the world has watched and come to known, will make a startling announcement.
The woman that we have got to know, to love, to follow or the believe in – is actually a man and has successfully and brilliantly fooled everyone. The announcement may be followed by a wave of controversy with whispers crossing the globe wondering, who else? Is “she” a “he”???
Or perhaps it will be the other way around. A legend, a stoutly man will come forth and announce that he was once or continues to be, a woman.
All boundaries and rigid gender lines will crumble in a notice as stoutly men become admirers of men in women’s clothing. A safe zone, an unspoken arena will be cast into the sunshine for all to see and it will be curious.

Well what do we have here? I feel so strongly about this new movie, The Dark Knight, it is worthy of a blog post.
I loved Batman Begins. It was a pleasant surprise to see a movie with a well-thought plot, believably high-tech toys and the lack of the Men in Black type humor (humor, said with strong sarcasm). Chrisitan Bale played a great wealthy tycoon trying to find his true soul in the world and struggling with demons that that the audience could quickly grasp. It made sense watching Batman Begins.

MYSPACE – a fresh perspective **yAwN**

Well I have tested both and have to say this, I canceled both accounts with very little reservations. Actually, I just lied. I had no reservations. Many family members had pending friend requests, were hitting me with Hillary or something entertaining. What happened to the days of sending a postcard, flowers or just stopping in for coffee or a beer? God, I am getting old…
Spending much of my day (and evenings) online, I doubt the social engineering “fun” of social networking sites will catch my fancy. Friendster, Friend finder, match.com (lol) simply are just not my bag. However, I will try to give an honest opinion of both here. Take it for what its worth.

Problem:
I have a directory of 50,000 files, some have .jpg and some are .JPG, they all need to be .jpg. How to change?
Solution:
At command line, enter this:
for f in *.JPG; do mv $f `basename $f .JPG`.jpg; done;
