Someone once asked me, can I get free tv on my pc? Hmmm. Once there was a company called Instant Media, they are now gone. Then there is a site called JOOST an interesting company that bears watching. But my favorite, for tv now, international tv from all over the world is a standalone software program by the folks at JLC Internet TV.
JLC’s Internet is a free application (for now) where you can watch tons of freely available channels. With a broadband internet connection (and some stations will stream with slower connection), you can watch many stations from all over the world. The adult selection is disabled so right now, its a good alternative for those wanting to watch the news, BBC, many paid cable type channels like Discovery, etc. You will need to have at least a Media Player (Windows Media Player or Real Player) program installed.
